(ELC) joined forces with Microsoft to take advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) to transform trend forecasts and consumption marketing strategies. This collaboration aims to create a generative AI ecosystem which accelerates the identification of beauty trends, the development of marketing assets and research processes, according to Microsoft News.

Operating AI for a competitive advantage

With almost 80 years of experience in the beauty industry, Estée Lauder has a richness of data on consumers at its disposal. The company uses Microsoft 365 COPILOT, as well as the Azure OPENAI service and Azure AI research, to build a robust IA infrastructure. This system, in particular with Consumeriq, will allow employees to effectively access and analyze consumer data, thus improving the company’s capacity to respond quickly to market changes.

CONSUMERIQ, a tool developed in Copilot Studio, allows Estée Lauder to draw on its vast consumption data from surveys, clinical trials and product use. This data -based approach ensures that marketing teams can quickly adapt to trends, such as those stimulated by influencers on platforms like Tiktok, using historical data to clarify new products developments or marketing strategies.

Rationalization of processes with Trend Studio

In addition to Consumeriq, Estée Lauder develops Trend Studio, a tool powered by AI designed to further rationalize the marketing process. Using Azure AI Technologies, Trend Studio can detect emerging market trends, recommend products and generate tailor -made marketing content. This system aims to reduce the time to detect trends to the market response, which allows Estée Lauder to maintain a competitive advantage in the beauty industry at a rapid rate.

Trend Studio also includes virtual testing technology, improving the customer experience by allowing consumers to view the appearance of products before purchase. This integration of AI accelerates not only decision -making but also simplifies employee workflows by reducing repetitive tasks.
