CH Robinson uses Langchain AI technology to automate logistics, saving 600 hours a day. Find out how Langgraph and Langsmith improve customer efficiency and satisfaction.
CH Robinson, a world leader in logistics, exploits the power of AI to transform its operations, according to a recent Langchain report. By integrating Langchain, Langgraph, Langgraph Studio and Langsmith Technologies, the company automates transactions by electronic mail in its shipping life cycle, which has led to significant savings and improvements of efficiency.
Take up operational challenges
Despite the advanced digital tools for instant service, CH Robinson was faced with challenges with manual data entry due to the high volume of emails – approximately 15,000 per day, containing shipping requests. These emails often included incoherent formatting and missing data, resulting in delays and ineffectiveness. The traditional process forced employees to spend up to four hours in the queues of email and approximately seven minutes of treatment of each email in an order.
To solve these problems, CH Robinson has developed owner AI technology capable of reading emails, connecting disparate information and automatically generates commands. This innovation allows the company to automate around 5,500 orders per day, which saves more than 600 hours a day.
Implementation of Langchain solutions
The integration of the open source framework of Langchain, Langchain, provided the company the flexibility to switch between different models of AI and effectively analyze user instructions.
